Taigh Anna is a cosy, traditional stone cottage, refurbished and modernly equipped to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Its location in the village of Back on the east coast of Lewis makes it an ideal base for visiting and exploring the many attractions of the the Islands of Lewis and Harris.  
  • The cottage is only a short walk from a lovely sandy beach, harbour, Gress river and open moorland, also perfectly situated for various outdoor activiities i.e. walking, cycling, wind surfing, birdwatching, fishing etc.
  • Approx 1 mile from the cottage there is a min-market/Post Office/filling station and Pharmacy. There is also a regular Bus Service from the cottage door to the town of Stornoway.
  • Stornoway is 10-15 mins drive and there you will find shops, restuarants, bars. Leisure Center etc and an excellent Golf course and club within the scenic woodlands surrounding the Lews Castle grounds.
  • Transfers Available: on request from Stornoway Air and Ferry Terminals for £20 return.

Accommodation  
  • The cottage sleeps 6 with two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom.
  • A modern well equipped kitchen with washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer etc.
  • Separate dining room.
  • Living room with: TV, DVD and Music centre.
  • Shower room (suitable for the disabled) on ground floor. Baby bath and cot provided if required.
  • Outdoor drying facility.
  • Large enclosed garden with off road parking.
