Come and enjoy a holiday or short break in West Dorset.
"Stonebank Annexe" is a great base for exploring the coast and countryside of this lovely county, at any season.

Ideally situated for visiting several bird reserves, two in Weymouth, one on Portland and a little further at Arne.

The seaside town of Weymouth is 3 miles to the east, Abbotsbury village, with its swannery and sub tropical gardens, 7 miles west and the county town of Dorchester only 8 miles away.

Stay at "Stonebank" and have a relaxing break and enjoy spectacular walks along the World Heritage Jurassic coast. Explore the various National Trust and English Heritage properties to see the fascinating history of this area.

Visit the many places seen on film & TV such as the dramatic cliffs at West Bay the home of the TV programme "Broadchurch". The film "Dunkirk" had scenes shot around Weymouth harbour and the area and the film of Mary Anning was filmed around Lyme Regis. The film "On Chesil Beach", adapted from the book by Ian McEwan was filmed a few miles from us.
