Stackaldbrae  has been a family home for many years. Set on the side of the hill, Brinkie's Brae, it has magnificent views over Stromness harbour, the islands of the Holmes, Flotta and the Hoy Hills. Stackaldbrae is a stone throw's walk into the centre of the ancient harbour town of Stromness. The owners are both artists and the house has  has many contemporary artworks on display, books about Orkney and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Accommodation  
  • The house sleeps 6 (2 doubles and 2 singles) and has a bathroom, shower room, well equipped kitchen, utility room, oil central heating, double glazing, multifuel stove, private parking bay and mature, wrap around terraced garden with many steps and a small pond.
  • TV and free wifi/ super fast broadband.
  • Facilities include Washing machine, Tumble dryer, Microwave, Dishwasher.
  • Children welcome.
There is a pedestrian right of way leading to a footpath into Stromness town centre.
