Snettisham is a real Norfolk village set in a conservation area. The pebble beach with RSPB reserve for birdwatching is a 10 min drive, and Hunstanton and Royal Sandringham are 3 miles away. The lovely beaches at Holkham, Brancaster and Holme are all within easy reach, as are the coastal resorts of Wells, Sheringham and Cromer. For interesting shopping, there is Burnham Market (little Chelsea), just 10 - 15 mins drive, and Holt. Other local attractions include the Park Farm in the village, and castle ruins at Castle Rising and Castle Acre. There are National Trust and English Heritage properties in the area, as well as theatres and cinemas at Hunstanton, Kings Lynn (10 miles) and Norwich (40 miles). The area is also ideal for walking and cycle routes. Pretty villages, quaint pubs and cosy tea-rooms are in abundance in this peaceful part of the country.  
  • The village itself boasts a newsagent/general store, fish and chip shop, factory shop, garden centre, Arts and craft centre, factory shop, 2 pubs (one of which the Rose and Crown is the award winning Norfolk Pub of the Year 2015). Also a superb bistro and other interesting small shops.
  • There is a regular bus service to Kings Lynn and Hunstanton, where a link to the Coasthopper service is available, taking you as far as Cromer.

The Accommodation:
The 3 bedroomed cottage, recently newly built in traditional carrstone, is furnished to a very high standard offering every luxurious comfort. WiFi included. Sleeping 5 in a double, a twin and single rooms. It is set in the centre of the village, just a short walk from all the amenities. It has TWO private parking spaces adjoining the property.

The cottage is fully gas centrally heated and comprises:  
  • A separate entrance hall with downstairs w.c. off.
  • Spacious sitting room with 2 comfortable sofas, fireplace with pebble effect electric fire, occasional tables and stairs off to first floor.
  • The kitchen is very spacious and equipped with gas hob, electric fan double oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and other items include coffee maker, toaster.
  • There is a spacious dining area off the kitchen seating 6. French doors open out on to the enclosed private patio/garden area, and from there a gate to the rear entrance and parking area.
  • The main bedroom is spacious with generous wardrobe/ drawer space and has EN SUITE shower room with power shower and large double shower cubicle.
  • The second bedroom has twin single beds and generous wardrobe, drawer space.
  • The third bedroom has a single bed, drawer space and limited hanging space.
  • The family bathroom is spacious and has a power shower over the bath.
  • Summer house with secure storage for cycles.
Short breaks available from Nov to March and at other times subject to availability.
The cottage is non-smoking.
