A luxury self catering holiday cottage situated in the secluded and private "Phuill Bay" on the banks of Loch Fyne with wonderful views across the sparkling waters of the loch to Inveraray, the hills of the Cowal Peninsula and beyond.

Seal Cottage  stands in an extensive beautifully kept mature garden, with plenty of open space for children to play. Garden furniture and BBQ are provided for relaxing and dining outdoors. There are private stairs at the bottom of the garden leading to the shore and the Cottage benefits from fishing rights in the loch. There are panoramic loch views from all public rooms and the 3 double bedrooms to enjoy the beautiful sunsets and the loch wildlife.

Walking and Cycling  
  • The whole area is surrounded by beautiful hills and mountains that are ideal for the hill-walker.
  • The highest local mountains are Beinn Ime (3318ft), The Fiddler (2660 ft) and behind the cottage, Cruach nan Capull (1854 ft).
  • For something flatter there is the Old Shore Road (now just a track road) in front of the cottage which winds along the banks of the Loch.
  • Walk or cycle all the way to the pub at Cairndow - (5 miles) or the Creggans at Strachur (2 miles).

  • Dining room which comfortably seats 6 with CD player, radio and iPod dock.
  • Newly renovated kitchen with utility area with electric cooker, large fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher iron and ironing board. Other essentials such as crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans and utensils are provided.
  • 3 attractive double bedrooms with bed linen and towels provided.
  • Downstairs toilet.
  • Upstairs bathroom with double shower unit and a full size bath.
  • Driveway with ample parking for 4 cars.

Wining & Dining  
  • Nearby in the village of Strachur (less than 2 miles away) you will reach The Creggans Inn providing excellent cuisine served both in the bar and main restaurant with views across the Loch.
  • Within an easy 10 minute drive (7 miles) is the internationally renowned Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and Shop. Food is served in the restaurant throughout the day - a fantastic treat for seafood lovers. The shop sells a range of seafood and accompaniments, some of which is locally caught and organic. Excellent for stocking up for picnics and for some home cooking.
  • Beyond The Creggans is Inver Cottage at Strathlachlan (5 miles past Strachur) which is a small warm and welcoming restored croft situated on the beautiful shores of Lachlan Bay, Loch Fyne. It's the perfect place to unwind and sample some superb local cooking. It also has a craft gallery and shop selling an unusual selection of artwork and gifts.
  • In Inveraray there are a number of excellent restaurants one of which is The George Hotel situated on the Main Street. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere and serves good quality food at a reasonable price. Inveraray Castle is well worth a visit.
