Sitting room with log fire and small sun room, with panoramic views, dining room and adjacent is the kitchen with serving hatch. River walks, table tennis, croquet and boules. Tennis court shared with Plum Braes Barn.

The Hideaway Chalets
The 3 contemporary Hideaway chalets with private hot tubs - Eden, Orchard, and Tweed - each have 2 bedrooms and accommodate between 2 and 4 people including wood fired Hot Tubs. They all have a contemporary design on ground level, with an open plan living area boasting an L-shaped comfy sofa, wood burner, and a flatscreen TV - There is a kitchen with oven, fridge, and microwave, and a dining table and chairs. Off the living area is the stylish bathroom with good pressure shower, basin, and WC, and also the 2 bedrooms. One is a compact twin room and the other is a large King size room, offering greater flexibility for guests. Both bedrooms and the living area have glass windows and doors making up one of the walls, allowing light to flood in and giving access to the chalet-long decking.

Kelso
  • Poetically described as 'The most beautiful, if not the most romantic town in Scotland' by Sir Walter Scott, Kelso sits in a stunning setting, facing the Cheviot Hills, with the River Tweed (famous for salmon fishing) winding its way around its pretty cottages and fascinating church which is octagonal in shape.
  • With its elegant charm, impressive townhouses gracefully adorn its streets and its cobbled square dating back to the 18th century is a joy to wander around with its fantastic independent shops selling hand-made pottery, striking tweeds, stylish cashmere and local produce for stocking up on those all important essential goods - with its sophisticated French market feel, Kelso truly puts the fun back into shopping.
Location and Facilities
  • In the heart of reiver country, Plum Braes Barn and Edmondston make a superb base for exploring the Scottish Borders with all its interesting history - Abbeys and Castles, golf courses and race course, scenic beauty, walking country.
  • The area has a great choice of eating places with all the local fresh produce and unique shops in the charming Border Towns.
  • The Borders are world famous for salmon fishing with Kelso boasting the renowned Junction Pool on the river Tweed.
  • My guests are welcome to fish on the Eden below the cottages but heron and otter have reduced fish greatly however lovely to be on the water nonetheless!
  • As our farm is organic the farm has an abundance of wildlife. Kingfisher are seen daily.
