Short summer nights give extended sunsets and the chance to see noctilucent clouds shining silver 50 miles above us to the north. In the winter our northerly aspect and lack of light pollution give excellent views of the aurora borealis.

Stunning, dramatic location + very cosy cottage. Had a lovely time in Skye exploring the island and its wildlife (even though the weather was more like winter for us!)  Mark, Elizabeth and Kathy (Melbourne, Australia) 1-6 July 2013

' Here we are again for the sixth time, I think that says it all. Another brilliant week and the weather good too. Lots of fish caught and large ones too(pollock, plaice, dabs & mackerel). A return trip to Loch Coruisk again, deep in the heart of the Cuillins. Went over again by the Bella Jane- we highly recommend these people as their customer service is fantastic and they are really good with dogs. We did manage to walk right round the Loch in just under 3 hours. it is a very hard walk, made possible as no rain here for two months. The path around is hard to find but well worth the challenge....Thanks again Kathy and Nick for another great holiday. See you again next year! Sue, David and Codie dog White from Dorset.  16th-23rd June 2012
