This lovely detached self-catering holiday property is one of a group of five houses in a peaceful rural location just one mile from the beautiful town of Forres. It has a spacious enclosed garden with ample lawn area front and back for children and pets to play. The river Findhorn is a pleasant short walk from the house, approximately 500 yards, where fishing is popular. Have a picnic on one of the picnic benches right on the riverside or take a walk upstream/downstream on the well kept paths. Spacious rooms coupled with a good games room (with pool table and board games) make this an excellent choice for families who wish to explore this beautiful area of the Moray Coast.


Accommodation sleeps up to 8 plus travel cot.

This is a very spacious family friendly house with stair gates fitted top and bottom, and includes oil central heating and double glazing. A travel cot and high chair are available for little guests at no extra cost. Oil, electricity, initial fuel for fire, bed linen and towels included.

So much to see and do along this beautiful area of the Moray Coast:  
  • Don't forget your camera to capture the dramatic and beautiful landscapes of the Moray area.
  • Wildlife - Discover an abundance of wildlife, including roe deer, ospreys, buzzards and red squirrels, many of which can be seen from the garden.
  • Outdoor pursuits - From gentle walks and cycling, to horse riding and white water rafting. Don't miss the fabulous Culbin Forest a few miles from the house. The Cairngorm National Park and Aviemore, a short drive away, are great for skiing and hill walking.
  • Beaches - Nairn, Findhorn and Lossiemouth all have beautiful sandy beaches - spot the seals and dolphins or enjoy fresh seafood from restaurants overlooking the Moray Firth.
  • Salmon and trout fishing - The River Findhorn is a five minute walk away. Rods are available locally.
  • Golf - You will be spoiled for choice with a huge number of quality courses to suit every ability.
  • History - Moray and Nairn is full of exciting historical gems just waiting to be explored - including Cawdor Castle, Elgin Cathedral, Sueno's Stone and Brodie Castle which is just 3 miles from the farmhouse.
  • Whisky - Moray hosts more than half of all Scotland's distilleries. Savour the many world famous brands as you travel the scenic Whisky Trail.
  • Shop and lunch n style - Brodie Countryfare, Logie steading and Visitor Centre, Johnston's of Elgin and Baxter's of Speyside are all within easy reach.
  • Children - Landmark adventure park, Kincraig wildlife park, the Strathspey Steam Railway and Nessie-hunting on Loch Ness are all within an hour's drive.
