Originally a gamekeeper's cottage, Easter Duiar has been substantially extended, and now provides wonderful accommodation to ensure a great holiday in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland. The house is nestled on the lower slopes of a forested hill with a large natural garden and open views across the Spey Valley to the hills opposite.

Features - Wonderful countryside, large garden, great views, log burning stove, coal fire, 5 bedrooms, great facilities - sky plus, dvd, cd, video, wireless BT Broadband, bathrooms galore, play room available.

Downstairs:
  • Suberb sun lounge with windows on three sides and panoramic views of the valley beyond. This room has a comfortable seating area with log burning stove together with a large dining table with seating for up to 12. CD player.
  • Bright and airy kitchen with table and seating for up to 8. The kitchen has most appliances including dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, eye-level oven and separate hob, fridge and freezer and microwave. Great views of the Spey Valley to the front and the garden to the rear.
  • Original lounge with stone wall and roaring coal fire. This is a lovely cosy room with window to the front overlooking the valley and is a great place to snuggle down after a days walking or cycling. Full Sky Plus TV, DVD, Video and CD Player.
  • Double bedroom with ensuite shower-room with window to the rear.
  • Bedroom with adult bunk beds and window to the side.
  • Family Bathroom with bath and shower over bath - windows to side.
  • Front Porch - a great place for an evening dram watching the sun setting over the hills beyond.
 Upstairs:
  • Main Bedroom with balcony and en-suite shower room. This large bedroom also has a sofa bed for one and a separate camp bed is available to allow a family to stay. There is also a desk to allow any workaholics to keep on working! - but hopefully not for too long.
  • Twin bedroom with windows to the front and side.
  • Another smaller twin bedroom with window to the front.
  • Separate toilet with window.
 The Bothy
(Available at an extra cost)
There is also an outbuilding which has been converted to provide a play area with home cinema system, seating area, dining area and a small kitchen area. There is also a separate shower-room. This space can provide a safe area in which older children or indeed playful adults can spend some time on a rainy day. This may also be able to be used for additional accommodation if necessary by prior arrangement.

Our aim at Easter Duiar is to provide very flexible, comfortable accommodation in a wonderful area of the Highlands where there are endless recreational opportunities. For the actively minded many outdoor pursuits can be enjoyed nearby including canoing, windsurfing, skiing, golf, quad biking, horse riding or indeed walking or cycling both of which can be enjoyed from our doorstep. If you'd rather enjoy a relaxing break then equally there are numerous castles, gardens and potteries nearby or if you would rather sample one of the local malts then you wont find a better selection with Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Knockandu and Aberlour within a short distance to name but a few. Alternatively just sit back, relax and enjoy your holiday and all the comforts of Easter Duiar and its surroundings.
