Drimlabarra Croft is a stunning house in a beautiful, quiet, beachfront spot in Kildonan, on the south coast of Arran. The two photos above show the new sun room and balcony. All bedrooms, lounge, sun room and dining room have panoramic sea views, overlooking the beach, and the islands of Ailsa Craig and Pladda. There is a large, south facing enclosed garden, with a private field (with swings and climbing frame) and direct access to the beach. The house sleeps up to 9, in 4 spacious bedrooms and is perfect for large families and groups.


Accommodation - downstairs:  
  • Large, sunny, comfortable lounge with open fire and patio doors to the garden.
  • Dining room with a 10-seater dining table. Original stone walls, and wood burning stove.
  • Newly fitted modern kitchen with range cooker.
  • Sun room overlooking the sea.
  • Double bedroom, with sofa and TV/DVD, and patio doors to the garden.
  • Large, modern bathroom with jacuzzi bath, and additional shower room.
  • Small playroom, with toys.
 Accommodation - upstairs:  
  • Three bedrooms - one double (with ensuite showerroom and ensuite WC), one twin and one very large triple room, with feature fireplace, sofa and TV/DVD.
  • A large balcony, accessed from the ensuite bedroom.

Kildonan is a peaceful village, with fabulous beaches, ranging from beautiful stretches of sand, to rocky coves. The beach in front of the house is home to seals most days and many sea birds. We also sometimes see otters and, very occasionally, dolphins.
