CORONAVIRUS: We are CLOSED at the moment because we are currently in Scottish tier 4, and this has been extended to 26 April. We are still taking bookings for later in the year, in the hopes restrictions will be lifted.
In 2021 weekly holidays start on Fridays for Cruinn, and Saturdays for Moy. Also some 6 day Saturday to Friday bookings to allow for extra cleaning time. If you want to book both cottages, it may still be possible to arrive on the same day. Let me know your requirements.
Open all year.
Short breaks available during winter. 3 nights Friday to Monday, and 4 nights Monday to Friday preferred.
Upto 2 well behaved dogs (£20 each).
Look for the recently introduced beavers in Knapdale Forest. There is a new Visitor Centre to check out at Barnluasgan.
Weeks when BOTH cottages are available: 14-21 Aug, 11-18 Sept, 29 Oct-5 Nov. 12 Nov onwards.
Opportunities to rent ONE cottage for two weeks: Lots of opportunities during 2021. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Cruinn: 18 June-2 July, 9-23 July, 16-30 July; 13-27 Aug,
20 Aug-3 Sept, 10-24 Sept, 12 Nov onwards.
Moy: 4-18 Sept, 25 Sept onwards.
BOTH cottages available: 12 Nov onwards
Homecoming We would like to extend a warm welcome to anyone who has traced their ancestors to this part of Scotland. We are in the Parish of North Knapdale, and you might be able to continue to find information in the archives office in Lochgilphead, or the museum in Kilmartin, or even make use of our local knowledge!
