 Spacious Cider Barrel Cottage is converted from a single storey cider store. It is decorated and equipped to a high standard.  
  • The cottage provides a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, with a lounge, large kitchen/dining room, shower over bath room, entrance porch, hallway and small conservatory with french doors opening onto a sun terrace.
  • There is a cot and high-chair (notified in advance).
  • Prices are all inclusive, including linen and towels.
 Outside
The cottage is situated in the NGS Yellow Book half-acre part-walled gardens with mature specimen trees and shrubs, sweeping herbaceous borders, rockeries and lawns. Adjacent is a four acre traditional working cider apple orchard. The sun terrace has a table and seating. A babbling brook runs through the property and is suitably fenced to provide a relatively safe environment for children.

The property is on the fringe of the pretty villages of Rodney Stoke and Draycott with their two pubs, two churches and village shop.

Cider Barrel Cottage is ideal for exploring the many interesting local villages. The nearby towns of Cheddar (4 miles), Wells (6 miles) with its magnificent 12th and 13th century cathedral, Wookey Hole Caves (5 miles), Glastonbury, (10 miles), Longleat (35 miles), Stonehenge (40 miles) and Bath (22 miles). Closest beach is 17 miles.

The area is ideal for touring the Levels and the Mendip Hills 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' offering great variety. There are nine national and regional nature reserves within a few miles.
