Bread Cottage is very different cottage. Whilst it may look conventional from the outside, the internal configuration is unusual. The double bedroom, bathroom and utility room are downstairs and a circular glass staircase ascends through the core of the building to the open plan living area and up to the mezzanine extra bedroom.
The staircase provides the "wow" factor but makes the cottage unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems, visual impairment or vertigo!
I have found that boys of a certain age cannot resist using the staircase as a climbing frame so I have set an age limit of 14. However younger children do stay so if your child/children are younger, please do ask.

Fantastic cottage, really "quirky" (loved the staircase) and very comfortable and warm.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your unique cottage! It was so nice to stay in such a picturesque location in such comfort. The views from the common are just superb.

A wonderful cottage in a breathtaking location - particularly enjoyed the cows and horses (& donkey) coming to say hello at the kitchen window!
