Bowmont Hill is an arable and stock farm on the edge of the Cheviot Hills in North Northumberland, about 10 miles from Wooler. The castles and long stretches of sandy beach along the coastline are famous for their beauty and are within very easy reach.
Fishing is available on the River Tweed, at extra cost, for salmon and sea trout from 1st Feb to 30th November. Fishing on the River Bowmont (which runs through the farm) for sea trout and brown trout is from 1st March to 6th October.
Walking is another feature of the area which is very popular in the hills. From the fort on top of Bowmont Hill, you can see the wonderful views of all the hills around stretching for miles.
