Location:
  • Corrie Village benefits from the Corrie Hotel which is approximately 300 yards from Bluebell and there is also a Mara Fish Bar & Deli nearby. The Ferry Rock is close by and this was for decades the arrival and departure point for visitors coming to Corrie from 'doon the watter' and Glasgow beyond.
  • The Port (with children's swings adjoining) is also close to Bluebell being the historic safe haven for working and now leisure boats. At the south end of the village is the Sandstone Quay which provides safe seawater paddling and swimming and a small beach area.
  • The Island is known as 'Scotland in Miniature' with something for everyone e.g. walking, climbing, picnics, 7 golf courses, abundant shore line interest and two whisky distilleries on the island.
