Very last minute booking..so lucky and what a delight! Such a relaxing week, 2 days in York - Chocolate experience, Jorvick, Railway museum, Yorkshire museum for the Bedale hoard. Sunday lunch at Black Bull Escrick,Local walk (in book) very pleasant, and Stillingfleet Church so interesting. We will certainly recommend Barnbrook Cottage to our family and friends. P.S. final night fish and chips from A19 were delicious.

This has been a great place to visit York (on the bus) and the surrounding area. We've had great weather except Saturday when we were attending a wedding in York! We've visited Fountains Abbey(1 Hour away) and Benningbrough Hall ( 30 mins away). we've loved strolling around this peaceful village and having meals in the little patio garden. Thank you
