An Acail is a newly converted self catering cottage and has recently been awarded four stars through the Visit Scotland quality assurance scheme. The cottage is just a short drive from Stornoway town centre and is perfectly located for exploring the Islands of Lewis and Harris. The cottage has a perfect view of the Stonoway war memorial. The Islands boast beautiful beaches and many historical sites. There are numerous walks ranging from simple strolls to more adventurous rambles.
Accommodation
On the ground floor:
- Open plan kitchen/dining and living with 3D DVD and 42" Smart TV.
- Master bedroom with super king size bed and 32" freeview TV.
- Luxury bathroom (with spa bath and a water fall shower).
Upstairs: - Twin bedroom with ensuite shower room.
- Twin bedroom with zip together beds to make up to super king size, also with ensuite shower room.
- Bed linen and towels provided.
- Centrally heated (electricity and heating included in cost).
- Off street parking (up to 4 vehicles).
- Bike storage facility.
- Welcome pack on arrival.
- At the rear there is a patio area and a large picnic table. There is also an outbuilding which houses the laundry facilities - washing machine, ironing area, clothes pulley and tumble dryer. These facilities are for your sole use. Outdoor drying area also available.
