Albro Castle is an original workhouse situated in its own valley overlooking the Teifi estuary, an area of outstanding beauty. Using traditional materials and methods, the owners have been painstakingly restoring the property to recreate an authentic workhouse experience and combined it with basic but modern facilities to offer glimpses of times gone by. A stay at Albro has the following advantages.
  • A holiday in a historical workhouse.
  • Located at the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
  • The estuary and slipway at the bottom of the drive for safe water sports.
  • The blue flag beach at Poppit less than 1 mile.
  • Secluded location on the edge of the village of St Dogmaels and 1 mile from the market town of Cardigan.
  • A wide range of outdoor activities locally including sailing, riding, canoeing, walking, bird-watching, cycling, quad-biking, boat trips for fishing and sightseeing etc.
  • Ample parking for cars and boats.
