is a 19th century farm cottage with loads of character hidden up a private drive in the hamlet of Golan, on the boundary of Snowdonia National Park, 3 1/2  miles from the harbour town of Porthmadog and the seaside village of Criccieth, and within easy reach of Anglesey, Llyn Peninsular and Harlech with views across the sheep-grazed fields, to the mountains of Cwm Pennant. There is a working woollen mill on the other side of the minor road at the bottom of the drive, and the road is part of Cycle Route 8.

• Ynys used to be a working farm, has been our family home for more than 40 years and is ideal for families, sleeping 8 people plus a baby in the 4 upstairs bedrooms (1 double + cot, 1 double, 1 twin, 1 full-size bunks) while downstairs there is a bath/shower room with separate cloakroom, utility room, kitchen/diner, sitting room and conservatory/dining room.
• It is fully equipped with many extras (eg Freeview TV/DVD/Radio/Broadband) included in the price and very comfortably furnished making it a real home from home.
• Outside there is a private garden screened by living willow fences, with a barbecue, table and benches and a climbing frame/swings for the children.
• At the end of the drive there is a car park.
• It is secluded but not remote - on its own but close to so many attractions and activities where you can be busy doing nothing or be nothing but busy.
• We offer a degree of advance shopping by arrangement and we are child/dog/eco-friendly.

We are aware of the impact that Ynys Pandy has on the environment and we try to raise the awareness of our guests by encouraging recycling, reducing and reusing. We recycle our rubbish, use low-energy bulbs, have solar panels on the roof, provide eco-friendly cleaning materials, shampoos and soap etc. and continually monitor, review and improve our position without compromising your enjoyment.
