 Woodturner's Cottage is a beautifully renovated former joiner's workshop forming part of the old stone built steading of Yester Mains, the owners' working dairy and arable farm, located half a mile from the picturesque East Lothian village of Gifford. - Yester Mains is adjacent to an 18 hole golf course and within a half hour's drive towards the east coast from some of the best golf courses in the country.
- Edinburgh is easily reached by road or train.
- The village of Gifford hosts all usual amenities including two country hotels/pub/restaurants, newsagent and food store.
- The market town of Haddington is only 6 miles away.
The property comprises: Three bedrooms: 1 double en-suite, and 1 twin on the first floor, and 1 twin with adjoining shower room on the ground floor. There is a large well equipped country kitchen/dining room with french doors opening into the living room, with log burning stove. There are sanded wood floors throughout the ground floor, with tasteful decor and central heating making this a superbly cosy yet spacious property. Outside there is ample parking for two/three cars with enclosed lawn ideal for children and a patio for those summer BBQs. Facilities include: - Washer/dryer; microwave; dish washer; coffee maker; fridge freezer; travel cot; high chair.
- Bed linen and hand towels are included.
- Bath towels can be provided on request at an extra charge of £20 per week.
Well behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
Stabling (on DIY basis) is also availble for 2 horses at an additional charge of £25 per week per horse.
