 A romantic cotswold stone cottage set in the peaceful beech woods of the beautiful Toadsmoor valley. The nearest road stops at the hamlet of Bismore, where there is parking. Woodlands is reached by a footpath through the beech wood (about 200 yards).

  • Other nearby villages are Bisley (just over a mile) and Oakridge, both with pubs and good food.
  • A network of public footpaths provides walkers with easy access to the Toadsmoor valley and the surrounding countryside.
  • Slad valley and the Woolpack Inn, of Laurie Lee fame, are less than 3 miles walk with stunning views from Swifts Hill on the way.
  • Minchinhampton and Rodborough commons are also less than 3 miles away on foot or by car.
