Riverside Cottage is a newly converted small stone barn attached to farm buildings adjacent to the owners farmhouse. The interior has lots of exposed stone and beams. In the North York Moors National Park.

The cottage is completely surrounded by farmland and is in a beautiful and secluded location almost at the head of lovely Westerdale. However, the Esk Valley walk passes at the garden gate and there are many other walks in the area.
The Victorian seaside town of Saltburn is a short drive away.
Heartbeat Country and the lovely fishing town of Whitby are a 45 minute drive away or visit the historic city of York to the south.
Short drive to Yorkshire Heritage Coast - Staithes, Sandsend etc.
Easy drive to the historic city of York.

Facilities include:

Ample parking available outside the cottage.
A cosy sitting room with multi fuel stove.
Large kitchen diner with a good range of modern units, gas cooker, fridge, freezer, and microwave. Filtered natural spring water.
Downstairs shower room with toilet.
Utility room with sink and washing machine.
Main bedroom with double bed on first floor.
Second bedroom with twin beds on a mezzanine floor above the kitchen with separate staircase.
Travel cot and high chair available on request.
Outside there is a very private enclosed rear garden with patio and garden furniture. The River Esk runs alongside the cottage down a steep river bank. (Please supervise children).
Hot water, heating and all fuel for stove inclusive.
Bed linen and towels included.
Sky freesat and dvd player.
Old fashioned "juke box" style cd player and radio.

Location:

Secluded location in farmland.
The village of Castleton with shops, pubs and Post Office is about 3 miles, and the famous Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge is about 3.5 miles.
There are other lovely pubs, shops and visitor attractions in the nearby Danby Dale, Rosedale and Farndale.
Market towns of Stokesley and Guisborough - 25 mins.
