Woodend is a croft cottage that has been tastefully extended and modernised to a high standard retaining the cosy features of its period. It stands in its own enclosed garden with a tiny burn running through. The cottage has full oil fired central heating making it warm and welcoming even in winter.
Caiplich farm is set high above Loch Ness with spectacular northerly views across to the hills of Strathfarrar, and Glen Affric, yet only 20 minutes drive from the Highland capital, Inverness. The 140 acre croft was formerly the home of the author Katherine Stewart.
The Great Glen way, fishing on Loch Laite, forest and moorland rambles are on the doorstep. Loch Ness, Glen Affric, beaches, golf, dolphins, and skiing are all within easy reach.
Facilities: Sitting room with open fire, TV, DVD player. Dining room with feature fireplace, CD player. Kitchen, well equipped with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine, freezer, tumble dryer, ironing facilities, kitchen towels provided. Master bedroom, spacious room with king sized bed, Linen provided. Ensuite bathroom to above with shower WC, WHB. Twin bedroom with pine furnishings, Linen provided. Bathroom with bath, shower, WC and WHB. Patio furniture and BBQ. Central Heating, electricity, coal and linen included, (bring own towels or hire on booking.) The cottage is situated away from the croft house and steading.
