This unique setting overlooking the Dove Valley and Wolfscote Dale with miles of rolling Derbyshire hills/dales and picture postcard views makes Cruck and Wolfscote Cottages the perfect place to stay.
Photo right: Aerial view of Wolfscote Grange Farm - Poised above the Dove Valley in part of the farmstead (though the delightful Cruck Cottage is separate and private) the cottages are full of comfort and character, warm with efficient central heating - some with log burning stoves, spa/whirlpool bathrooms and dishwashers.
- Among many good features are lovely wooden floors with occasional rugs, sofas to stretch out on, TV/videos and CD players.
- Lovely garden / patio area with acres of open space and so quiet you can hear the cows munching grass in the field below.
- A centre for superb walking and climbing, with pretty Hartington Village, High Peak and Tissington Cycle Trail close by.
- Chatsworth House and the market town of Bakewell plus Alton Towers all within easy travelling distance.

 Cruck Cottage, Wolfscote and Tomboys Cottage ETC: 4 Stars. Sleeps 4: Double and Twin bedded Cruck Cottage has no neighbours - only sheep and a large oak beamed interior. Tomboys and Wolfscote are situated above a small croft called the water meadow. All full of oak furnishings, individual character and well equipped. Tomboys boasts a spa bathroom.
Graces Cottage ETC: 4 Stars. Sleeps 4: Double and Twin Warm and welcoming, tucked away in the back water of Hartington village. Wander around the village with its duck pond, green, shops and pubs. The Olde Cheese Shop sells the famous hand made Hartington Stilton. Ideal base to explore the Peak District and walk the nearby dales.

Wolfscote Grange Farmstead dates back to the Domesday Book witht he farmhouse date stoned at 1647. It is a traditional hill farm, set around a nature reserve designated an SSSI. The rural landscape of Wolfscote has many rare plants and interesting wildlife; watch buzzards, bats and much more from viewing hides. Also our Farm Trail points out sites of archeological interest; beautiful views, good walking and a freedom to roam with nothing to disturb the peace but sheep, birds and the occasional hare.
