The Area  

• Chipping is an award-winning village within Ribble Valley, in the Forrest of Bowland. This page cannot do justice to the depth of history and beauty, which it contains.
• Within one hour reach of all the regions major cities, including Preston, Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds other tourable destinations include the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. But let us not forget that the Forrest of Bowland is in itself the eleventh largest of the designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England.
• Within the Village enjoy the hub of weekly activities at the village hall with yoga, badminton and aerobics. Enjoy shopping at the Post Office and craft center reputed to be the country's oldest trading store since records began.
