The imposing location of Wintonhill Farmhouse above Winton House and overlooking the Lammermuir hills to the South and the Pentland Hills to the West presents one of the best vantage points for the county.
The Public rooms on the ground floor allow for full house gatherings and have already played host to the top officials of the PGA of America during the 2002 Open, a residential music course and a business school. - A truly superb location for those wishing to take a family holiday, or for those planning to take full advantage of the vast array of activities available in the surrounding area.
 
The accommodation comprises:
Ground floor A Large modern farmhouse kitchen, with pine kitchen table seating for 12, large electric range cooker, plus all mod cons including additional fridge for all those bottles of wine! Large Pantry/store. Games/kids room with table tennis, music system plus board games. Shower room (large), large power shower unit, loo and washbasin, shaving point.
Sitting room, with open fire TV and video. Large Dining room, with splendid furniture where it would be easy to create that special atmosphere for those unique occasions. Utility/laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, chest freezer and drying space.

The house is equipped with ISDN2 providing up to 8 lines, ideal for those who still need to be able to contact the office! Or for the kids to plug in on a rainy day. A separate bill will be issued at the end of the week.
Additional items All bed Linen and towels are provided including bath robes. Additional linen/towels can be supplied at a fee. Also supplied: Hairdryers, Childs High chair, Cot (Advance notice reqd), First aid kit. Dogs are welcome but not in the house; kennelling is provided next to the house. Golf club hire available from the house - 2 sets of 2003 edition Wilson Deep Reds: £25 for the weekend, £50 for the week. Why not take advantage of our corporate membership of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society and enjoy membership benefits for a unique lunch or evening out at their Vaults in Leith or the new Charlotte Street premises. Baby sitting service can also be arranged, advanced notice required. A whole variety of activities can be booked in advance on your behalf from Golf to Horse riding, Hot air Ballooning to Blo-Karting. Catering can be provided for breakfast, lunches and dinners subject to availability.
Locally
For golfers you will find 10% of the Worlds links courses on your doorstep, as are many other activities such as fishing, hill walking, horse riding and sailing. Equally there are plenty of passive activities from visiting the Glenkinchie distillery to the Scottish seabird centre. With the additional advantage being that you are only 20 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh whether travelling by car or train.
