Located in tranquil Dentdale Valley in South Cumbria, an ideal base for visitors wishing to enjoy the nearby countryside on foot, by cycle or just to relax on a peaceful break, broken only by the bleating of the lambs. The area is full of unique scenery and clean fresh air, and is awash with historic features and magnificent views. We are within easy distance of The Lakes, and the Yorkshire Dales.

Our stone built farmhouse is situated on a working Beef and Sheep Hill farm. We have calves in winter and in spring, lambs. Pet lambs would love new friends at feeding time.

The cottage has:

Four bedrooms - 1 double, 2 twin rooms, 1 single (including wash basin).
Living room, colour TV with freesat, DVD player, and open fire.
Large well equipped family dining kitchen.
Bathroom with shower over bath.

Facilities:

Centrally heated throughout.
All electric and oil included in price.
Beds are supplied with duvets and pillows.
Bed linen included in full week price.
Washing and drying facilities.
Coal and logs supplied on request at extra cost.

Outside:

Large garden to front of house.
Parking for 3 cars in gated cobbled yard.

The cottage is a 5/10 minute drive or a 25 minute walk from the village of Dent. Sedbergh is 7 miles away, while Kendal is 16. M6 is 25 mins away.

A £80 per week (non-refundable) deposit is required to confirm a booking; payable WITHIN A WEEK OF BOOKING.

Short breaks: Full amount payable at time of booking.
