Fuaran self catering cottage is situated in three and a half acres of woodland and gardens on the hill behind the owner's traditional cottage. The land was originally part of Erchless Estate, the seat of the Clan Chisholm. Fuaran was built so that people could escape from the stress of modern life and enjoy the peace and beauty of the woods and mountains of Strathglass. A burn runs through the birch wood above the cottage and the lawns to the front slope down to a terraced garden and patio. The unusual kitchen is in a separate log cabin across the lawn from the cottage. This is a cosy space to cook, relax and watch TV, giving everyone the space to enjoy different activities.
