- There is so much to do here with Cawdor Castle linked with Shakespeare's Macbeth, nearby. Two National Trust for Scotland properties, Brodie Castle and Culloden battlefield, will stimulate your interest, as will Clava Cairns, a well preserved Bronze Age cairn and standing stones.
- Fort George, Europe's best preserved 18th century military fortification, has plenty to occupy all the family. Other points of interest include the picturesque Dulsie Bridge and the Ardclach Bell Tower, built in 1655.
