Widefirth Self Catering Cottages were completed in June 2005 and are built to a very high standard. The cottages provide a comfortable, well equipped base for exploring the Orkney Mainland and its Isles. Whether it be summer or winter, there will always be good memories to take away.
  Widefirth Cottages are picturesquely situated in the parish of Rendall enjoying panoramic views over Widefirth Bay, looking out to Kirkwall and the Northern Isles of Orkney.
Accommodation Two self-contained cottages are available for holiday let all year round which can accommodate up to 6 individuals comfortably. Both cottages can also be rented for large family groups, up to a maximum of 12 individuals (not including infants). The master bedroom has a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom. The en-suite bathroom is fully equipped with a walk in shower and is designed for wheelchair users. There are two twin bedrooms with plenty of storage facilities. All rooms have TV and DVD players. A family sized bathroom is equipped with a luxurious spa bath and separate showering facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and there is a separate utility room. There is a spacious dining room and a comfortable lounge with leather suite and widescreen TV, DVD, video player and digital box. There are ample private parking facilities and each cottage has a large enclosed garden to relax and enjoy the long summer Orkney nights. A welcome hamper which includes samples of Orkney produce will be provided on your arrival. Baby equipment is also available so please ask when booking. Both cottages offer easy access to wheelchair users. There are plenty of activities to do in the area, including visiting archaeological sites and wildlife hotspots. The ferry terminal to the northern isles of Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre is within close proximity.
