Wolsingham is a small town situated in the lower part of Weardale, which is one of the North Pennine dales which have been designated as 'Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.
The cottage is situated in a designated 'Conservation Area' and is conveniently placed for the town's facilities (shops, pubs, garage, post office, bank etc) and also for walks in the surrounding countryside.
