This unique cottage is situated above Lamlash and has unparalleled views over the Bay. While being secluded at the end of a private track, it is still only 1.5 -2 miles from Lamlash and all its facilities of: golf club, putting green, bowls, boat hire, fishing, tennis courts, walks, restaurants, hotels and pubs and all of these are easily accessed by car, bicycle or by foot down the 'Cuddy Dook' - a footpath shortcut to the village.
  Whiterock is ideal as a base from which to start exploring or simply as a romantic hideaway. - The cottage which is double glazed and centrally heated throughout (no charge), sleeps four and has a cot available.
- Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a double bed and another room with twin singles.
- The ground floor has kitchen/diner/living room all in one open plan design. Twin hob, microwave oven with grill, fridge freezer, washing machine (accessible).
- The living room has a wood burning stove.
- The bathroom has a shower.
- Double Patio doors lead to an enclosed garden where visitors may relax on the garden furniture provided. This area is a suntrap. A barbecue is available and can be used here or to the front of the cottage on the patio.
- A range of books, games, DVDs and music CDs are available in the cottage and there is freedom to roam in the 8 acre grounds.
- There is also access to a rocky beach down a smugglers path at the bottom of garden.
- All bed linen and towels provided.
- Electricity charged at standard Hydro-Electric rates. Meter read on entry and exit of Whiterock Cottage.
Both proprietors are practising artists and show in both local and mainland galleries; while the cottage is decorated with original paintings and the garden displays original sculptures, visitors are also welcome to visit the studio adjacent to the cottage.
