 Located in an area graded as being of outstanding natural beauty, Whitefield is a peaceful rural hamlet 5 miles north of Wareham and the Isle of Purbeck. An excellent base for exploring the interesting old market towns of Dorchester, Wimborne and Blandford which can be reached in 20 minutes. The beaches at Swanage, Studland, Bournemouth and Sandbanks as well as the World Heritage 'Jurassic Coast' are easily accessible. - The nearest pub is just under a mile away and shops and post office 3 miles.
- There is an 18-hole golf course 5 minutes drive away from Whitefield.
- The area provides superb walking all year round.
Accommodation The ground floor studio is located in the large garden of the owners' 400 year old thatched home and provides a delightful base for a peaceful holiday retreat. The well-equipped and comfortable accommodation provides an antique four-poster double bed with an additional Z-bed being available. A radio and colour television are also provided. The large en-suite shower room is equipped with an electric shower, wash handbasin and wc. The newly installed kitchen includes an electric hob/oven and microwave etc. Outside: Garden area with view over fields. Garden furniture and patio area with barbecue. Parking on drive inside gate. General details: Bed linen (duvets) and towels supplied. Heating / electricity included in the price. Saturday to Saturday bookings. Short breaks available (Oct to April) please enquire.
