Set in a hamlet of four, about one and a half miles from Aldeburgh, this cottage offers a rare opportunity for a quiet secluded holiday. - Suitable for both retired couples and families with young children, its large garden of about half an acre and surrounding Suffolk heathland provide a wide peaceful outlook and plenty of exciting areas to explore.
- There is plenty of wild life in the garden to watch, particularly songbirds and rabbits.
- Garden furniture and barbecue provided.
ACCOMMODATION The kitchen/dining room and the sitting room are both double aspect, giving good views over the heath. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge with freezing compartment; electric cooker and microwave. The sitting room is a good size with settee, chairs, colour TV, DVD player and radio/casette/cd player. Two twin-bedded bedrooms. There is a shower room, with toilet and washbasin. Electric heaters in every room. White Cottage is situated on the route of the Suffolk Heritage Coastal Footpath. A fifteen minute walk, all off road, leads to a Suffolk Wildlife Trust bird hide which offers beautiful and peaceful views across the marshes and river. The owners supply photocopied guides for several country walks straight from the front door, including one taking you down to the coast.
