WESTWOOD HOUSE is set in a beautiful secluded location with a sitting room and terrace overlooking a private stretch of the famous River Tweed. It has a quarter of a mile of walled gardens and river bank with an iron footbridge over the river to our own private 9 acre island.

The undisturbed surroundings have created a wealth of natural wildlife and wooded trails, with secure and enclosed grounds offering 'total off lead freedom' for dogs.

Retaining pine and period features with a cosy log fire, the accommodation comprises:
  • 2 double bedrooms (one with ensuite shower), 1 twin bedroom, 1 family bedroom with double and single bed.
  • 1 bathroom and 1 downstairs cloakroom.
  • 2 sitting rooms (both with tv).
  • Dining room with table to seat 10.
  • Kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer and washer/drier.
  • An all inclusive holiday with linen and towels, electricity, central heating and trout fishing included.
  • Dogs welcome free of charge.
  • Cot and high chair also available.
Less than one mile from the pretty cobbled market square of Kelso and surrounded by glorious Border countryside, only half an hour from the Northumberland coast and one hour from Edinburgh.

The town of Kelso offers a racecourse, swimming pool, golf course, ice rink and good shopping facilities.

Explore magnificent castles, houses and ancient abbeys steeped in Border Reiver history or just simply relax in the wonderfully tranquil riverside setting, wandering undisturbed through private grounds.
