Compton House West Wing Compton House is a grade II listed building set in the tranquil village of Long Compton, half way between Oxford and Stratford-on-Avon, on the edge of the Cotswolds. Compton House is a beautiful Georgian house surrounded by an acre of walled garden with entry through electric gates. The house has been modernised inside and with its large proportions has the feel of a grand country house. The West Wing occupies more than 2000 square feet of the house. It can sleep a maximum of four adults, with plenty of space for children to sleep in fold away beds.

On the ground floor is:
A newly installed fully equipped kitchen comprising oven, hob, microwave, dish washer and washing machine.
The library / dining room which has a table and seating for 8.
A 25' drawing room with television and DVD.
On the 1st Floor is:
The Panelled Room, with a majestic antique double bed and en-suite bathroom.
The White Room, containing a 6' Four-Poster Bed and shuttered windows with views onto the garden.
A large family bathroom with bath, shower / steam cubicle, wc, bidet and wash basin.
Outside A fully enclosed front and back garden with to the back, a large lawn where cricket, croquet or other garden games can be played and to the front, a more formal Italian style garden with gravel paths bordered with box hedging. There is a bbq and outside table with seating for 8 in a private area for the guests of The West Wing.
The Location Long Compton is a beautiful village surrounded by hills with great walks and views. In the village is a village shop, a country food delicatessen and pub serving restaurant style food. Within 10 minutes drive are the Cotswold towns of Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh and within 40 minutes drive are Stratford, Oxford, Warwick and Cheltenham all offering great shopping, restaurants and things to see and do.
