Westholme is a charming 19th century, stone built, 2 storey cottage nestling in a quiet lane in the centre of the highly desirable Perthshire village of St Fillans with fantastic views of the highland mountains from every room. It has all the modern facilities you could want whilst retaining a huge amount of country character.

The house is within 5 minutes walk of the shores of Loch Earn in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
The village has three good hotels where you can enjoy an excellent meal or just a drink.
A wide range of activities is available on the doorstep including sailing, water sports and fishing; walking and climbing in the surrounding woods, hills and mountains; cycling on the quiet lanes and cycle paths and golf. There is a golf course in St. Fillans and many others close by.
You could easily spend a week without using your car but if you fancy travelling further afield, it is also an ideal base from which to tour the Highlands and Islands.
Virtually midge-free.

Accommodation

The house comprises a large, bright living room with real open fire (an initial basket of wood is provided free of charge); separate large dining room; modern kitchen; conservatory and downstairs toilet.
Upstairs there is a modern bathroom and two large bedrooms; one twin and one with a zip-and-link super-king size bed which can be divided into twins.
There is central heating (included in the price).
There is WiFi in the cottage.
Bedlinen and towels are provided free of charge.

Outside

There are private and secluded gardens ideal for children and dogs - front and back with an abundance of birdlife (including the occasional eagle and regular red kites and buzzards).
It has a private, lockable garage and parking for several cars/bikes.
Wonderful peaceful location.
