Orchard Cottage and The Bothy are two delightful old stone cottages, attached to the historic West Hill House. The cottages are in the village of Broadwindsor, in a beautiful, peaceful setting, and just 300 yards from the centre. Broadwindsor is a popular, historic village, which has a pub (very good food), convenience store, post office, and Craft Centre, which has a restaurant and several craft shops. The pretty, small market town of Beaminster is just 3 miles away. - The surrounding area is designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It affords excellent walking along the many footpaths. Lewesdon Hill - one of the highest points in Dorset, can be seen from the cottage, and the iconic Pilsden Pen is very close.
- Lyme Regis is 12 miles away and is a most delightful seaside town with harbour and the famous Cobb. The town abounds with art galleries, restaurants and other entertainments. Great for families.
- The Jurassic Coast, the only natural World Heritage Site in the UK, is minutes away. The bustling, historic market town of Bridport and West Bay are 10 minutes away, by car. Golf, fishing and many historic houses and gardens, (some National Trust) are nearby.
- Thomas Hardye's Dorchester and Maiden Castle are about 30 minutes away . The Roman town is steeped in history, and provides an abundance of attractions.

Orchard Cottage is a spacious 2 bedroom Cottage, accessed by a small conservatory. It has a double bedroom with 5ft bed and a family room with a double and a 3ft single bed. The lounge/dining area is comfortable and spacious. The kitchen leads into the breakfast /dining area. A brand new bathroom which includes a separate walk-in shower and bath. Orchard cottage now has a dish washer. The lounge and bedroom 2 have TV, DVD and Freeview, bedroom 1 has a TV and DVD.

The Bothy is a spacious 1 bedroom cottage with central heating. It has a kitchen/dining area and living room. The ensuite bedroom has a 6ft bed, (can be made into 2 singles) and a further 3ft bed. The bathroom has a toilet, basin and walk-in shower. There is now a 21" TV in the bedroom and TV,DVD player.
Facilities - Both cottages have TV, freeview, DVD, CD/radio. Kitchens equipped with washing machine, cooker, microwave, slow cooker, toaster, kettle, and cafetiere. Shared use of tumble dryer.
- Garden furniture and BBQ provided for both cottages in owners large secluded garden; areas of privacy if required.
- Heating, electricity, linen/duvets included.
- Private parking for 2 cars.
- £10 supplement per dog.
- There are many facilities for children such as a slide, trampoline and sandpit.
A new addition to the family is two young pygmy goats, Oddspot and Alaska, who will be living in the Orchard. They will provide entertainment for children and adults alike.
