West Hayes Barn is an enchanting, luxury conversion of a 16th Century Grade 2 Listed Barn. The cottage is situated in the beautiful conservation village of Halse, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, but still only 6 miles form Junction 25 of the M5. Our location makes us perfect for full weeks and short breaks.
 
Accommodation (New for 2007)  West Hayes Barn has been superbly converted and the accommodation is very attractive and spacious. The kitchen/breakfast room has a beautiful oak floor and is very well equipped. There is an open plan feel to the living areas downstairs with the oak flooring continuing into the sitting room. This is a very comfortable room with a wood burning stove. Downstairs is a twin bedded room, the beds can be linked to make a six foot double. There is also a stylish, modern bathroom downstairs. Upstairs is a stunning bedroom with a five foot king-size bed and additional full-size single, with an ensuite shower room. Outside is a large Mediterranean style entertaining area, with stylish outdoor furniture and barbeque, leading to a safe and secure lawned garden. The barn has lovely views across our fields and whatever animals are keeping the grads down! Area and Things to Do - Halse is in a perfect holiday location, set between the Quantock hills and Exmoor. The moors and hills offer many sporting and leisure opportunities.
- The North Somerset Coast is a mere 20 minutes drive away, only slightly further afield are the North Devon surfing beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde.
- Somerset's top tourist attraction, the West Somerset Steam Railway, has a terminus station only 1.5 miles from Halse.
- For children there are endless fantastic days out including animal parks, theme parks and museums.
- We are lucky to have many National Trust properties including Dunster Castle on our doorstep.
