 We have three properties converted from Grade II Listed barns in a secluded courtyard setting, with traditional games room that includes a snooker table. Village location 4 miles Lake District National Park, 10 miles to coast.
The Stables, sleeps 5
The former race horse stables has been sympathetically converted to provide open plan living accommodation to include: On the ground floor, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and living area with TV, DVD, CD player and wood burning stove. The first floor has one double bedroom, a second room with three single beds and a family bathroom. The Saddlery, sleeps 4
This has been converted in a similar way to the Stables, but is slightly smaller. All amenities as for the Stables, but the second bedroom has two single beds. The Hayloft, sleep 5 +cot
Situated on the first floor with the accommodation being all on the same level. Amenities are the same as the other properties. Each cottage has its own patio area with table, chairs and barbecue in the courtyard.
Please Note The Christmas and New Year weeks commence on Saturday 20th December 2008 and Tuesday 30th December 2008. We have a short break available for the nights of December 27th, 28th and 29th. Please enquiry for Xmas/NYear 2009/10. All prices include fuel, linen and towels and one basket of logs. A non refundable deposit of £100 per week per cottage booked is required to secure your booking. The village has a children's park and playing field, a general store, art gallery and coarse fishing lakes. Pubs nearby.
