 We have three properties converted from Grade II Listed barns in a secluded courtyard setting, with traditional games room that includes a snooker table. Village location 4 miles Lake District National Park, 10 miles to coast.

The Stables, sleeps 5
The former race horse stables has been sympathetically converted to provide open plan living accommodation to include:  
  • On the ground floor, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and living area with TV, DVD, CD player and wood burning stove.
  • The first floor has one double bedroom, a second room with three single beds and a family bathroom.
The Saddlery, sleeps 4
This has been converted in a similar way to the Stables, but is slightly smaller.  
  • All amenities as for the Stables, but the second bedroom has two single beds.
The Hayloft, sleep 5 +cot
Situated on the first floor with the accommodation being all on the same level.  
  • Amenities are the same as the other properties.
Each cottage has its own patio area with table, chairs and barbecue in the courtyard.

Please Note  
  • Our Christmas Week can commence from any day from Saturday 17th December 2011 and our New Year Week commences on Friday 30th December 2011.
  • ***PLEASE BOOK EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT***
  • We have a short break available for the nights of December 27th, 28th and 29th.
  • All prices include fuel, linen and towels and one basket of logs.
  • A non refundable deposit of £100 per week per cottage booked is required to secure your booking.
The village has a children's park and playing field, a general store, art gallery and coarse fishing lakes. Pubs nearby.
