Our small one bed-roomed house is ideally located such that the many attractions of Weymouth can easily be enjoyed on foot. For the more adventurous, Weymouth is also a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and more of England's First Natural World Heritage Site; the beautiful Dorset and Devon Coast.
This comfortable accommodation for two adults (indicated in the photograph by a red arrow) has Harbour views from the upstairs bedroom looking towards the Historic Town Bridge. The house is only minutes walk from Hope Square and Brewers Quay.
Accommodation
Ground Floor Hallway giving access to Kitchen, Sitting Room and Stairs. The compact Kitchen is well fitted with Electric Cooker, Extraction Hood, Microwave, Refrigerator, Washer/dryer, Electric Kettle, Toaster, Working Surfaces and Cupboards, etc. There is a separate door to the Sitting Room which is complete with Colour TV and Video, folding Dining Table, inlaid Chairs and Bookcase, a two seater Settee, an Armchair and Electric Fire. There is a door to a small partly walled Garden with a shed containing Garden Chairs, Loungers and a small Table. First Floor There is a landing to the one bedroom and the bathroom. The Bedroom is complete with a 4' 6" Double Bed, Dressing Table and Mirror, Chest of Drawers, Cheval Mirror, built in Wardrobe, Stool and Bedside unit. There is a separate door to the Bathroom which has an indian ivory coloured Suite, and is fitted with a Cabinet and Mirrors, etc. There is a Power Shower over the bath. Facilities The house is fully carpeted except for the kitchen and has electric heating comprising a Night Storage Heater in the Hallway, and another in the Sitting Room, plus thermostatically controlled heating panels in the other rooms. There is a telephone fitted, for incoming calls only. We operate a No Smoking policy in this house. The accommodation is for 2 adults only. We regret no children or pets. Blankets are provided by us, but you will need to provide Sheets, Pillowcases, Towels, Teacloths and a Tablecloth. Locally
The attractive Nothe Gardens, which are close by, overlook the outer Weymouth Harbour on one side and Portland Harbour on the other. There are seats dotted about the Gardens, and an open-air café with beautiful views of Weymouth Bay. The main beach and Town shops are all within easy walking distance. The "Local", the Nothe Tavern, is less than 2 minutes away.
The property, part of a modern built terrace, is integrated into a tasteful conversion of Listed Barrack Buildings now forming Luxury Flats. The original Parade Ground provides Private Parking and ornamental gardens.
