 Higher North Mill and the six surrounding Watermill Cottages lie in their own secluded valley just one mile inland from Slapton Sands on the South Devon coast. Virtually untouched by modern intervention, this idyllic riverside setting offers a perfect rural retreat. There is excellent walking in the valley and easy access to the Coastal Path and Dartmoor. Fifteeen different beaches are all within 30 minutes drive. Dartmouth, Salcombe and Totnes are all close by.
The owners live in the mill house and can supply meals if required. All the cottages have plenty of heating and all except Buntings have woodburning fires. Winter breaks are available.
 Quack Cottage (photo right) (sleeps 3) has two bedrooms and is set in its own sunny garden bordering the river.
Rose Cottage (in background of photo on right) (sleeps 4) has two ensuite bedrooms, one twin and one double. This is a very sunny cottage with a large wooden deck and a fully fenced gaden.
Buntings Cottage (sleeps 4) is on one level with a double and bunk room.
Barleycorn Cottage (sleeps 4) is very spacious with a double and twin room and excellent views over the river.
Mill Cottage (interior photo above) (sleeps 6) has 3 bedrooms and is in a sunny position right by the river.
Crownwheel Cottage (sleeps 6), suits an extended family. Downstairs there is a double bedroom, bathroom and bunk room and upstairs there is an en suite twin room.
