Waterfront is the spacious, ground floor apartment of the former Blackrock guest house with a shore front location on the edge of the pretty conservation village of Corrie.
Accommodation
The upper apartment is also self catering but as both apartments have been sound proofed noise should not present a problem.
The apartment sleeps 6 in one double bedroom with new en-suite double shower and w.c. and 2 twin bedrooms one with wash hand basin. There is also a family bathroom with large shower and good water pressure. Hairdryers in each bedroom.
The lounge and separate dining room (seating 8) both have full sea views and the chair by the window overlooking the sea has become a favourite with all our visitors.
There is a mature garden with lawn to the side overlooking the sea for the sole use of Waterfront guests but as there is a small burn (stream) running through it, guests please note that pets and small children should not be left unattended.
The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, tumble drier, washing machine and fridge freezer to the rear of the apartment with stable door. Watch out for the Red squirrels that play there.
Guests will find Waterfront warm, welcoming and comfortable with double duvets on single beds, king size bedding in the double room and lots of pillows, heating on and a bottle of wine in the fridge.
Flat Screen TV with Freeview in the lounge.
Ipod dock with radio.
Family friendly with high chair, travel cot available, night lights for children.
Linen and Towels provided and Heat and light included in the rental.
The butcher and bank vans call and there is a large Co-op in Brodick. Sannox Bay Hotel does good Bistro food and there is a tearoom at Corrie Golf Club.
Garden benches to the front to sit and watch the world go by.
