Waggoners Cottage dates back to 1760 and as named provided horses and waggons to the Manor Farm. It is part stone and would originally have been thatched.

Accommodation

The Cottage has undergone a 4 year restoration and has been brought up to date with modern oil central heating but without losing its original charm and quirks.
The cottage is a 3 bedroom detached property within its own grounds, private drive and fishing.

Location

Besthorpe is a quite small village with good road links to Lincoln, Newark and Nottingham, also within walking distance we have a great local pub, the Lord Nelson, which serves great food.
Besthorpe has some great walks and bird watching/nature reserve.
Collingham is the nearest large village (2 miles) with shopping facilities.
