Viewfield House offers Victorian character, charm and luxury in the idyllic country village setting of Comrie. The house is newly refurbished and offers: - Four spacious public rooms including a lounge with log burning fire, sitting room with Raeburn stove, modern kitchen and an attractive dining room seating 10.
- Five bedrooms including a master with ensuite, a further kingsize bedroom with sink, one double, one twin and a further twin with bunkbeds.
- A bathroom with luxurious Victorian claw foot bath, shower room, and a downstairs toilet.
- A large, beautiful fully enclosed garden ideal for children with large lawn, BBQ, dining table and chairs, and private parking. And for those looking for relaxation on a hot summer day, the hammock strung between the apple trees awaits you!
The village has many amenities including restaurants, pubs and shops all within easy walking distance. The village is very lively and offers a wonderful New Year party as well as a fortnight long summer festival. Comrie is a riot of colour in the summer and is the proud winner of 'Large Village Britain in Bloom 2007'.
Comrie is the ideal base for exploring Scotland and its historic attractions. Many wonderful walks are available on the doorstep, from Munros to less challenging rambles. It is also well situated for cycling, fishing, golfing, watersports and is a haven for nature lovers. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Dundee and their many historic attractions are all within an hour's drive.
