Are short breaks available in Victoria Cottage?

How can I pay for the Cottage?
 
 
At the time of confirming availability a £50 deposit is requested, this secures your reservation. Settlement in full must be paid at least three weeks before your arrival. If full payment has not been received and there has not been any correspondance since receiving the deposit then the reservation will be cancelled and the deposit of £50 will not be refunded. Cheque is the preferred method of payment.

How do I get to Butterknowle?

 
If travelling by car on the M1 (A1) leave at Junction 58 (Corbridge, Darlington) Follow the signs to Corbridge A68 to Toft Hill. Turn left at the B6282 (signposted Middleton-in-Teesdale). Stay on the B6282 for approx 5miles to arrive at Butterknowle. 3 Victoria cottage is one of four terraced cottages on the left at the top of the village.
 
What happens upon arrival?
 
 
The cottage will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival and we will be there to welcome you. If you wish we can provide you with a small welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk, bread and butter at no extra cost. A first supply of coal, logs, sticks and firelighters can also be provided at no extra cost. There after if you require more logs/coal you are able to purchase these locally. The calender runs from Saturday to Saturday, we request you arrive after 15:00hrs and depart before 10:00hrs.   

What attractions are there in the area?

 
There are many attractions such as the ones listed on the front page, and traffic free roads will help you to enjoy the beautiful countryside. The city of Newcastle and Sunderland with their football grounds, the Metro shopping Centre, Durham and York are all approxmately an hours drive away. So the opportunity to experience these wonderful cities and their excellant night life is still within easy reach.

Does the pub in the village serve food?

 
Unfortunately at the time of completing this notice board the Pub does NOT serve food, but there are several pubs with in a short drive who do serve food
