 Vicarage Cottage is in Hollinsclough, one of the smallest, most friendly and picturesque villages of the Peak District. Hollinsclough lies close to the River Dove in the upper Dove valley and comprises of a handful of attractive stone houses nestling under the remarkable limestone peaks of Crome and Parkhouse. The cries of curlew and lapwing augment the lowing of the cattle and the distant rumble of a passing tractor.

Buxton is the closest town (5 miles) and Leek and Ashborne are both within an easy drive of the cottage. The village of Longnor with its shops and numerous pubs, cafe and restaurant is within walking distance or a four minute drive.

 THE COTTAGE
The cottage sleeps five and is part of what was once the Vicarage of the village. The rooms are bright, cheerful and comfortable. - The sitting room has an open fire. There is a television, DVD and VHS player together with a stereo.
- Above the Sitting room is an airy bedroom which can sleep three. It has an en-suite loo and basin, a television and VCR.
- The double bedroom at the back of the house also looks out towards Crome Hill. It is beside the bathroom which has a bath with a shower attachment, an electric shaver facility above the basin and an Electric towel rail.
- The kitchen/dining room looks out to the East of the house. It is well-equipped with a large fridge-freezer, a clothes-washer/dryer, a washing-up machine and a microwave oven.
There is a facility for horse-riding on the outskirts of the village which takes people of all ages.
If you can't leave your work behind there is a fully equipped modern work station with colour photocopier and broadband in the village which can be used by visitors.
