Situated in a quiet part of the village, Valhalla is the perfect base for friends or family to enjoy the outstanding natural beauty the North of Scotland has to offer. Whether your interests are fishing, hiking, golf or just kicking back and relaxing, you will appreciate the comfort offered in this home from home. There is secure off-road parking at the side of house with well laid out gardens suitable for barbecuing and entertaining. The kitchen is the main meeting point in the house and is a comfortable place spend time in. The property has full central heating. Additionally there is PC and WiFi Internet access if required. Location - Nearby is a beautiful beach, usually deserted, and some fantastic scenery to be enjoyed, especially when hill walking.
- Fishing can be arranged on the River Helmsdale through the local Fishing Tackle Shop and Gold Panning is another popular attraction at Baile-an-Or a few miles inland up the Strath of Kildonan.
- For those with a passion for Golf, Helmsdale has its own 9 hole course but only 10-12 minutes away (by car) is a beautiful 18 hole Links course at Brora designed by James Braid, and 30 mins away is Royal Dornoch - another Links course made famous by Tom Watson.
- Helmsdale's history goes back to before the construction of Helmsdale Castle in 1488. The castle's main claim to fame was as the location of the poisoning of the 11th Earl of Sutherland.
