Off the entrance hall is the kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and washing machine. Also a toilet & cloakroom. The lounge/dining room, which opens into a conservatory is furnished with new lounge seating and dining furniture, also a 32 TV, radio and CD. The conservatory, in turn opens onto an enclosed patio and garden. Upstairs - A double bedroom with en suite facilities + 1 twin with a separate bathroom. Gas & electric, linen & towels are included. £50 Deposit to make a booking. Alresford is an idyllic location for a holiday break and is regarded as a fine example of an elegant Georgian town within 10 mins walk from Thornton Close. There are delightful listed buildings lining its streets, containing the shops, pubs, & restaurants that provide everyday needs. - A popular attraction in Alresford is the Mid Hants Railway with its original train station, cafe and waiting room.
- Several special event days take place, eg Thomas The Tank Engine and Steam Train Gala Days.
- You can also experience sights and sounds of the 1940's with civilian and military re enactors travelling the trains. More info available.
- Other family attractions from the town are country walks along the River Arle with ducks and swans to feed, also children's playgrounds with swings and slides.
