 Our two cherished, comfortable cottages are situated in a peaceful rural setting close to the Fishing Village of Mevagissey (4.5m), "The Lost Gardens of Heligan", and the spectacular Cornwall Coast Path. The Eden Project is 10m.
Cornwall has so much to offer that one visit is rarely enough - many guests return to explore more gardens and galleries, museums and moorland, not to mention the beaches large and small, the bustling harbours and the sleepy inland villages. Janna's and Demelza's Cottages are ideally placed for visitors to enjoy the varied aspects of this magical County.
Accommodation  Each Cottage has two bedrooms (one double/one twin) plus a shower room. All bedrooms have views over the courtyard to open fields and hills beyond. Bed linen, towels, baby equipment and electricity are included in the rental. Downstairs there is an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with beamed ceiling, opening onto the shared south-facing courtyard garden. The kitchens overlook the patios and gardens, and are equipped to a high standard, including a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The lounge area provides TV, Freeview, DVD (film library), CD/radio, books, games, etc., "coal effect" stove. The cottages have comprehensive electric heating included in the tariff. To the rear of the properties are furnished patios, leading to individual gardens, with further patio areas (barbecue, furniture) shrubs and lawns. Each cottage has two designated off road car/boat parking spaces. As local owners we are very accessible and we pride ourselves in our high standards and attention to detail.
We welcome families with children, and our Short Breaks are particularly popular with gardeners, walkers, birdwatchers and photographers.
Both cottages together make an excellent venue for families holidaying together, where the delights of a shared holiday location combine well with the need for some individual privacy!
